Seagate and LSI Discuss Nearline SAS Storage Systems and Applications on Let’s Talk Computers® Radio Show

Barbara Craig, Seagate Senior Product Marketing Manager, and Gina Geisel, Product Marketing Manager with LSI Engenio Storage Group, were recently invited on the Let’s Talk Computers radio show to discuss many of the benefits companies will receive by turning to storage systems that deploy Nearline SAS drives for all Tier 2 and archiving requirements.

The two guests also offered further insight into solving many common IT challenges including the protection of system data and maintaining uptime, improving system performance, and proper selection of drives and interfaces based on the application needs. Host Alan Ashendorf asked a number of questions about enterprise-level use, as well as included his own insight and experience on the topic, all of which ultimately provided the show’s listeners with an educational and entertaining listening experience.

Let’s Talk Computers is one of the longest-running, nationally-syndicated radio talk shows covering technology. It is broadcast weekly in seven states as well as on the web. Listen to the interview at the following link: http://www.lets-talk-computers.com/guests/seagate/nearline_sas
